3 Days Online Academic Festival Organised at Kalinga University

Raipur. A Free medical Camp can be considered as a life-saving program that aims to provide free medical and surgical services to poor communities living in rural or urban areas by a mobile team with varieties of medical specialized services.

Similarly, Kalinga University had organized free RTPCR tests and free Vaccination camps for students and staff with the help of CMHO, Raipur.

Now it has organized two-day free health check-up camp in collaboration with Jila Sainik Kalyan Karyalaya, Rajnandgaon led by Capt. A.C. Pokhriyal, Rtd from Indian Navy with support of Rijuven Ltd. on the University premises on 3rd & 4th August 2021. Medical examination of the staff and the students was carried out by using latest digital technology wherein the entire analytical process is running on amazon web server at back end. This provides portability, ease of operation, and taking the primary health care to the doorstep.

The health check-up camp including some important medical services which are available nowadays in hospitals like 3-Lead ECG Cardiac Function, Blood Glucose, Lipid Panel, Urinalysis, Ear exam, Breast Screening, Vital parameters like (BP, oximeter, BMI, weight, etc) tests were done.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. R. Shridhar Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Kalinga University in the presence of Deans of Various Faculties, Registrar, and Chief Proctor in Kalinga University.

Speaking on the Occasion the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. R. Shridhar thanked the Jila Sainik Kalyan Karyalaya, Rajnandgaon for their free service for the students and staff of Kalinga University. He expressed the hope that Jila Sainik Kalyan Karyalaya, Rajnandgaon will continue to organize such activities for the students and staff of Kalinga University in the future also.
