Web Seminar on "India's Stand on Russia-Ukraine Crisis" organized by Kalinga University

Raipur> Kalinga University is the emerging prestigious educational institution of Central India. To develop research instinct and innovation in the students and to provide quality education according to global standards, subject experts, and guest scholars are invited and guest lectures are being organized by the university. In the same series, a web seminar on “India’s Stand on Russia-Ukraine Crisis” was organized by the Department of Political Science under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of Kalinga University on 12 April 2022.

In the said seminar Dr. Aman Jha, Associate Professor, Durga College Raipur (Chhattisgarh) was present as the keynote speaker. He explained in detail the important points regarding the Russian and Ukraine problem to the students present in the webinar. The guest speaker said that “The only solution to the Russia-Ukraine problem is that President Putin of Russia and President of Ukraine Zelensky come to a table for talks and find a solution which is acceptable to the governments of both the countries”. War is not the solution to any problem in civilized human society. The horror of war and human tragedy will have a bad effect on world politics and the possibility of a third world war in future is also not ruled out. In his lecture, he also made the students aware of the origin and causes of this problem. In this seminar, the students also asked their questions to the subject expert guest scholar under the dialogue program and pacified their curiosity.

At the said event, Professor of Political Science Department of Kalinga University and convenor of the seminar Dr Anita Samal and co-convenor Mr Shekhar Chaudhary, Assistant Professor, Public Administration along with all the professors and students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities were present.
