Bilaspur: The accolades and conferrals bestowed on Kalinga University are immense and recently another jewel had been added in its crown with the signing of an MOU with Bilaspur Smart City Limited for providing academic and technical support to Kalinga University Incubation Centre. With this achievement, Kalinga University has become the first private University of Chhattisgarh to sign MOU with B INCUBE Bilaspur smart city. In the esteemed presence of Dr. Byju John, Director General and Dr Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar Kalinga University the MOU was duly signed with B INCUBE. The B INCUBE team was led by Mr Bharat Kumar Agrawal, Project Advisor, B INCUBE Incubation Centre, Mr Paritosh Goel, CEO and Mr Vishnu Vaibhav Dwivedi, Head of Operations. B INCUBE – Incubation Centre located at Nutan Colony Sarkanda Bilaspur is a government backed incubation centre for early age start ups.
Kalinga University has a strong vision of social transformation through technological innovation. The purpose is solved efficiently through the Kalinga University Incubation and Innovation Centre KUIIC. The vision of KUIIC is to provide support and training for students and innovators , who are interested in converting their business ideas into startups and creating awareness amongst students and other sections of society regarding various aspects of entrepreneurship like new business ideas, and developing startups mission of nurturing and mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs for transforming their ideas into viable entrepreneurial initiatives through excellence and service.
KUIIC promotes innovations by providing facilities to the incubated companies and on individual basis as well. It provides office space, computer systems, internet, Tele and video conferencing facilities and also accommodation to the incubate. There are also mentoring and advisory services provided to the incubates.
The Memorandum of Understanding between Kalinga University and B INCUBE mainly focuses on the objectives of promoting application of resources, Incubation, Internship, mentorship and research. The centre will assist in organizing trainings and workshops for incubates and students to cooperate in educational areas of mutual interest.
B INCUBE will facilitate in delivery of expert lectures, and will provide a platform for sharing and exchange of best practices in the field. This MOU will promote education, training, mentorship and research for the upcoming challenges in future.
