Raipur. Kalinga University, Raipur has emerged as a centre of excellence in higher education in Central India. Strategically located in the Smart City of New Raipur, this University has started carving a niche for itself in the education domain and is rising as a shining star on the horizon of quality education.
The University took an initiative by organizing a training session for students of the middle school on ‘ICT and E-LEARNING’ Platforms. The event was conducted on 29th of March 2022 at Government Middle School Paloud. Faculty members from CSE & IT Department of Kalinga University, Mrs. Shikha Tiwari, Dr. Guddi Singh, and Mr. Mithlesh Prajapati conducted the program and briefed students on how to use ICT platforms as they emerged as an essential need during the pandemic. Mrs. Shikha Tiwari gave detailed information to students about the uses and importance of E-learning and Dr. Guddi Singh gave them information about different types of ICT platforms and how to use them.
The session was conducted to help students to learn the use of ICT platforms as they have become extremely essential in the post-pandemic times for online learning. The program was attended by a good number of Students and it received extremely positive feedback by the students.
In the training program, the Principal of Government Secondary School Paloud- Mrs. Seema Dutta and faculty members Ms. Sudha Awasthi, Mr. Naresh Singh Thakur, Ms. Sadhna Dadar and Ms. Janki Banjare were present. The students of the school actively participated in this training programme.
