Seminar on "Career opportunities in start-ups and enterpreneurship' organized at Kalinga University

Raipur : Kalinga University, Raipur a NAAC Accredited University with Grade B+ and Ranked in Top 151-200 Universities of the Country in NIRF Rankings 2021, has been established as a multidisciplinary research focused and student centric university with the aim to support learning that will advance human knowledge to develop and educate the leaders of tomorrow and research that tackles the most pressing problems of the state, the country and the global community.

As a part of its Outreach program under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Kalinga University organized a “Free of Cost” seminar on the topic ‘Career opportunities in Start Ups and Entrepreneurship’ for school and college final year students, parents, schools and college principals & faculty. The resource person for the seminar was Dr. R. Shridhar(Vice-Chancellor, Kalinga University). The seminar was conducted on 16^th April 2022 (Saturday) 10.00 AM to 12.00PM at the Auditorium in Kalinga University Campus. It commenced with the Lamp Lightening ceremony followed by the welcome of the dignitaries and participants by the host of the event. Furthermore, the host introduced the resource person for the Event, Dr. R. Shridhar and invited him to begin the session.

Dr. Shridhar discussed several awe-inspiring details about the concept of ‘Start-Ups’ and its requirements in our country. He also gave all the adequate developments about start-ups and entrepreneurship and also the career prospects of start-ups. The session was highly informative and beneficial for young aspirants who want to build a career in start-ups. The session was followed by a dynamic question-answer round where the young students discussed their career related queries at length with Dr. Sridhar and were provided with valuable advice. The Seminar concluded with the host delivering a heartfelt ‘Vote of Thanks’. The event harnessed extremely positive feedbacks from the participants.

The seminar was attended by class 12^th students and faculty members of various prestigious schools like KendriyaVidyalaya, Mahasamund, MGM Higher Secondary School Raipur, St. Xaviers School Raipur etc. The attendees also comprised of the seminar was attended by The Director AdmissionMr.Abhishek Sharma, Mr. J. Vishal and Mrs. SonamDubey and other staff members of the University.
