Raipur: Kalinga University, Raipur a NAAC Accredited University with a Grade B+ and Ranked in Top 101-150 Universities of the Country in NIRF Rankings 2022, has been established as a multidisciplinary research focused and student centric university with the aim to support learning that will advance human knowledge to develop and educate the leaders of tomorrow and research that tackles the most pressing problems of the state, the country and the global community.
In its string of academic endeavors, the Training & Placement Department at Kalinga University added another feather to its cap by organizing a ‘Two-Day Faculty Development’ on 12thaaugust – 13th August 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. in association with Titans LearningPvt Ltd, under the supervision of Mr. Pankaj Tiwari, Director Corporate Relations, Kalinga University. The theme of the program was “Effective Personality’. The Program commenced with the master of ceremony Mr. KapilKelkar delivering the welcome address and welcomed all the dignitaries and guests present in the ceremony followed by Lamp-Lighting Ceremony where all the participants payed a tribute to Goddess Saraswasti by singing SaraswatiVandana.
The event began with an addressed delivered by Dr. R. Shridhar (Vice Chancellor, Kalinga University) and Dr. Sandeep Gandhi (Registrar, Kalinga University) where they emphasized on the need of Personality Grooming for professionals working in the academic field. After the addresses by the dignitaries, the first session of the Day-1 commenced and was conducted by Mr. Ahmad, Life Science Engineer and COO of Titans. Mr. Ahmad discussed several themes from Personality Grooming such as Psychosomatism, Self-Awareness, Self-Reflection, Empathy, Coping with Stress, Life-Skills, Importance of Life-Skills in Career Progression and activities teaching Team building for the organization etc.
Following a short lunch-break the second session of the day was conducted by Mr. Sameer, Life-Science Coach who took a session on Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Managing the five senses, Emotional Intelligence etc.
On Day-2 the Faculty Development Program, the first session was taken by Mr. Sameer which was focused on Neuro Linguistic Programming. And the second session was conducted by Mrs. Swati, Life Science Coach, and in the session Mrs. Swati focused on Energetic Attitude, How to improve the attitude and personality of students and how to boost confidence in students, Grooming of Communication Skills.
The event garnered positive response from all participants and was a grand success.
