The Department of Biotechnology of the Kalinga University, Hosted by the Faculty of National Webinar Science.

Raipur. Kalinga University, Raipur is a well-known University in Central India that focuses on quality education and research. The University believes in holistic development of the students and thus facilitate the students to enhance and develop practical skills, techniques, or ideas which they can use in their work or their daily lives. To take this endeavour ahead, the Faculty of Science, Department of Biotechnology, Kalinga University organised a National Webinar on 21^stAugust, 2021 on the topic “New Health Care Challenges in Post Covid Period”. The keynote speaker for the webinar was Dr. Manish Shrivastava, MBBS-DOMS, Director Varun Netralaya, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

The webinar was marked by the eminent presence of Vice-Chancellorof the university- Dr. R. Shridhar, Director General- Dr. Byju John, Registrar- Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Dean Student Welfare- Dr. Asha Ambhaikar, Dean Academic Affairs, Faculty members and students of the department and participants across the country. The opening of ceremony done by Dr. Sushma Dubey. Keynote speaker Dr. Manish Shrivastava addressed the health issues of Covid-19 and shared new health care challenges. He also emphasized on the importance of dietary habits and practice of exercise to reduce the health risks along with following the Covid-19 precautions and guidelines. The deliberation of Dr. Manish Shrivastava received an overwhelming response with 211 participants as it was very informative and educative. The students were highly benefitted by the insights that he provided regarding the subject matter of the webinar.
