Raipur : ‘First Step 2022’ Induction Program was organized for the new students of D.Pharma’s first semester by the Kalinga University at its Campus on Friday. Students were given a warm welcome at the entrance and porch area of Kalinga University with the beats of Dhol.
During the Induction program, the tilak ceremony was performed for the new students at the entrance of the Auditorium of Kalinga University. The lighting of traditional lamps with Saraswati Vandana took place. Brief information was shared with the students through Power Point Presentation (PPT) about Kalinga University. The introduction of all Dignitaries and department heads was done through PPT. A welcome dance was presented by Ms.SurbhiRathi, a student of the university.

After the formal inauguration Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar of Kalinga University gave a welcome speech. He informed that Kalinga is among the top universities in central India. A motivational speech was presented by Dr. R Shridhar, Vice Chancellor. The group dance was performed by Rithik and the group. Dr.Byju John, Director General blessed the students. Mr. Shankar Panjwani, a guest speaker and proprietor of Apex Pharma delivered a motivational speech to the students.

Mr. Simon George and Ms.Shinki Pandey presented a fun game for the students. Introduction of Deans and Head of the Departments were given through PPT by Mr.KapilKelker, Head of Department of Fashion Designing, and Ms. Jasmine Joshi of Management Department. Dr.Sandip Tiwari, Principal, Faculty of Pharmacy gave an introduction to the department.
Dean Academics Affairs Mr. Rahul Mishra gave information on the Academics curriculum to the students. A vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. A Vijayanand, Chief Proctor of Kalinga University. The program concluded with the National Anthem.
